- Bangalore Metro will go live at 4pm October 20. Passenger entry will start from 3pm onwards.
- Metro will run between MG Road (MAGR) and Byappanahalli (BYPH)
- Timing:
- 6am and 8am : every 15 minutes in each direction.
- 8am and 8pm: every 10 minutes in each direction.
- 8pm and 10pm: every 15 minutes in each direction.
- The last service will run at 10pm from both directions.
- Stoppage: only 30 Second on each station.
- Route Map: MG Road , Trinity, Halasuru, Indiranagar , Swami Vivekananda Road and Byappanahalli
- Metro feeder bus : 62 feeder buses will run at a frequency of 10 minutes. The minimum ticket fare will be Rs5.
- Prepaid autos: opposite the Namma Metro station on MG Road.
- Travel Cards :
- VARSHIK :you can store currency of any value(Maximum Rs.1500) on this ticket. The card is shown at the entry gate of a station to enter, then again at exit gate to exit. During exit, the fare value is deducted from the card. The card can be topped-up/recharged with any value in multiples of Rs. 50.
- SANCHAR: A regular ticket for two fixed points, can purchase advance trips viz., 10, 40, 50 or 100 trips and load them on card.
- SARAL: would cost Rs110 and the commuter can travel in air-conditioned buses as well as the Metro.
- SARAAG: priced at Rs 70 and will enable commuter to travel in ordinary BMTC buses and the Metro.
